Herbalism is for everybody.

Plants have been used to support our health and bring us all — humans, animals and other plants — into balance for thousands of years. But somewhere along the way, herbalism got the rebrand it never asked for (read: exclusive, expensive, wildly unattainable).

That’s why herbalist and plant lover Archana Ram started All of Us Herbs, to remind us that plant medicine is and always has been for everyone no matter how you want to make it a part of your every day. Whether it’s an herbal tea nightcap paired with reality TV, herbs infused into potluck mocktails or dream pillows to soothe those 9-5 work nightmares — with much love and respect for the plants always, herbalism is for all of us.

Frequently asked questions

  • Herbalism is the practice of using plants to support overall health and bring us back into balance. Flowers, leaves, stems, roots, seeds—it’s about being mindful to select the right plant for the person.

  • Those are types of plant medicines, but I don’t focus on those categories.

  • Nope. I am not a doctor, can’t diagnose your condition and can’t treat your condition. What I can do is provide herbs that help nourish your overall wellness and bring you back into balance. It’s important to note that any products I make or recommend have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

  • I’m an herbalist trained at the Ojai School of Herbal Studies. I’m actively training in herbalism every day (e.g. online courses with the American Herbalist Guild). I have three years of experience making tea blends, tinctures, salves and other plant medicine products.

  • That is your decision, not mine. Especially if you’re pregnant, nursing or taking prescription medications, I encourage you to tell your prescribing physician about these herbs, but that is also your decision.
